ينتظم لويس ميكيسوني، لاعب الفريق الأول لكرة القدم بالنادي الأهلي، المنضم حديثًا من فريق سيمبا التنزاني في التدريبات الجماعية للفريق غدًا الخميس.

وكان الأهلي قد أعلن ضم لويس ميكيسوني لمدة 4 مواسم خلال فترة الانتقالات الصيفية، قادمًا من نادي سيمبا التنزاني.

واستأنف الأهلي تدريباته مساء اليوم الأربعاء على ملعب التتش بالجزيرة، وذلك بعد الراحة السلبية التي حصل عليها اللاعبون بعد نهاية الدوري الممتاز الموسم الماضي.

ويصل ميكيسوني إلى القاهرة مساء اليوم، على أن ينتظم في التدريبات الجماعية للفريق المقرر إقامتها في الخامسة مساء غد الخميس على ملعب التتش بالجزيرة.

جدير بالذكر أن الأهلي يستعد لاستئناف مسابقة كأس مصر وبطولة السوبر المصري لموسم 2019-2020 أمام طلائع الجيش المقرر إقامتها يوم 21 سبتمبر الحالي على استاد الجيش ببرج العرب في تمام الساعة السابعة مساء.

فيما يلتقي مع نظيره إنبي يوم 25 سبتمبر الجاري في دور الـ16 من بطولة كأس مصر، وذلك في تمام الثامنة مساء على استاد الإسكندرية.

لم يتخذ نادي ريال مدريد، حتى الآن قرارًا بشأن هوية مدربه الجديد، ليخلف الفرنسي، زين الدين زيدان، في النادي الملكي.

زيدان، تقدم باستقالته من تدريب ريال مدريد، قبل عام من نهاية عقده، الخميس الماضي، ولم يرغب في الاستمرار مع النادي الملكي، بعد إنهاء موسم 2020/2021 دون أي ألقاب.

وكان ماسيميليانو أليجري، أبرز المُرشحين بقوة، لخلافة زيدان داخل ريال مدريد، ولكن الإيطالي أدار ظهره للنادي الملكي، وقرر العودة إلى يوفنتوس من جديد، بعد عامين من الرحيل.

وبحسب صحيفة “موندو ديبورتيفو” الإسبانية، فإن إدارة ريال مدريد بعد استبعاد خيار أليجري، استبعدت أيضًا فكرة تعيين لوف مديرًا فنيًا للفريق الأول لكرة القدم بالنادي الملكي.

وقالت الصحيفة إنّ النادي أمامه الآن ثلاث خيارات بشأن المدرب الجديد، حيث يتواجد كل من ماوريسيو بوتشيتينو، مدرب باريس سان جيرمان، إلى جانب الإيطالي أنطونيو كونتي، فضلًا عن راؤول جونزاليس.

وأشارت إلى أنّ نسبة تعيين راؤول كمدرب أقل من الثنائي الآخرين، رغم أنه مدرب للكاستيا وأسطورة النادي، ولكن إدارة النادي، تفضل مدرب يتمتع بخبرة أكبر.

وأوضحت أنّ المدرب المُفضل لدى فلورنتينو بيريز، رئيس مجلس إدارة النادي، هو بوتشيتينو، الذي طلب الرحيل عن “حديقة الأمراء”، بعد خلافات مع إدارة النادي الباريسي (طالع التفاصيل).

واختتمت الصحيفة تقريرها موضحة أنّ في حال تمسكت إدارة باريس سان جيرمان، ببقاء بوتشيتينو، فإن النادي سيذهب إلى التعاقد مع الإيطالي كونتي، بعد استقالته من تدريب إنتر ميلان.

Sheffield Wednesday might not be in action for another week, but one decision off the field has left many supporters of the club absolutely reeling.

The club claim they will contest the charges and while any punishment is yet to be confirmed though, it seems that a hefty points deduction will the likely outcome, according to football finance expert Kieran Maguire.

Fans have taken to Twitter to unleash on Chansiri for putting the club in such a precarious situation this early into Garry Monk’s reign.

One member of the Hillsborough faithful claims the Thai businessman is the worst thing to ever happen to the club while others simply labelled him ‘clueless,’ ‘incompetent,’ and an ‘idiot.’

A further supporter pleaded for the chairman to leave the club with one more believed he was the only person to blame for this happening.

وتحدث دياز عن رأيه في المباراة المقبلة في تصريحات نقلتها صحيفة “آس” الإسبانية، وقال: “في غرناطة دائمًا ما نحاول تقديم كل ما لدينا لصالح الفريق من أجل الفوز”.

وتابع: “يجب أن نواجه آخر ست مباريات في الدوري الإسباني بنفس الحماس، نريد الفوز بتلك المواجهات المتبقية في البطولة”.

وأضاف: “برشلونة فريق صعب للغاية لكننا نعلم أننا إذا كنا في أفضل مستوياتنا، فيمكننا خلق المزيد من الخطورة لأي فريق”.

وواصل تصريحاته: “لا نستسلم أبدًا كفريق، نحن نفكر بالفعل في مواجهة برشلونة، نعلم أنها مباراة صعبة للغاية لكننا سنحاول الفوز هناك كما نفعل أمام أي منافس آخر وسنقاتل من أجل كل شيء”.

For the time being at least, another bad run and the tides might turn back the other way once more.

The Blues are back on a winning streak (if you can call two games a streak), after they defeated Luton Town 2-1 over the weekend.

The victory could have been a little bit more convincing if Lukas Jutkiewicz had buried his chance in the second half, but three points is three points at the end of the day.

Interim Head Coach Pep Clotet came out with a message on Twitter, praising both the fans and the players for their efforts over the past week.

And Blues fans were more than happy to jump on the bandwagon of good emotions surrounding the Spaniard, with many taking the opportunity to call on the board to give him the head coach’s job on a more secure basis from this point on.

So long as he can keep a number of the fan base onside, then surely he should be in a decent enough position to shed the ‘interim’ part of his job title soon enough.

Looks like we’re fully into transfer rumour season now.

And former player David Prutton believes that the great start Nottingham Forest have made this season can act as a building block when it comes to any deals they want to do in January.

What’s he said?

Speaking to Nottinghamshire Live ahead of the game against Wigan Athletic this weekend, the former Forest man said that if the club wanted to make a move in January they should be confident of getting players over the line.

He claimed the prospect of being so close to the Premier League will help them attract players to push them over the line:

“They’ll find themselves in a good position, and I’m not just being biased because I’ve played for the club. If Forest are in the top six and looking like they’re hunting down the top two in January, then with the stadium buzzing and the atmosphere being fantastic – it’s a great city, you’d be hard-pressed to not attract players of a certain standard to a situation like that.

“You’d come in and be playing in front of 30,000 people every other week at home, and it would just be (a great opportunity) to get that club into the Premier League.”

Got to stay there though

Whilst Prutton may be right in believing that being so close will make them a tantalising commodity for any prospective player, it is now up to the Forest players and staff to make sure that they keep them there.

As the pundit suggests, doing so could just enable them to complete attractive signings, something that ultimately could propel them to the promised land of the Premier League.

Sabri Lamouchi recently stated that his main ambition this season is to stay in his job for one full season.

Whilst that may be the case, there is one way of making sure he stays in the job, and that’s to get promoted.

It’s something that makes these next couple of games so vitally important for Forest, not just in terms of this season and making sure they’re close to promotion, but also a long way in the future.

If they can bring in a couple of big names, not only will they be in a good position to contest this season, but if things don’t work, they’ll be in a great place to challenge next term as well.

Lots of Crystal Palace fans have taken to Twitter to criticise Christian Benteke, after the forward’s miserable cameo in the 1-1 draw against Wolves.

The Belgium international replaced Jordan Ayew in the 68th-minute and actually participated in four successful duels – ultimately, however, the source of the Palace fans’ frustrations on Twitter can be found in one pivotal moment.

With the score at 1-0, Benteke found himself one-on-one with Rui Patricio and was given the chance to seal all three points for the Eagles but the man with 127 career goals dallied on the ball before firing straight at the Portugal international.

To make matters worse, the 28-year-old then had to watch on as Diogo Jota fired in an equaliser with the last kick of the game.

Benteke may have gotten away with his miss had the Eagles gone on to win, but after Jota’s goal, his awful attempt has led to a number of Palace fans on Twitter criticising him heavily.

All aboard the ‘let’s-get-carried-away’ train. We’re six games into the new Premier League season, and already pundits and players alike are beginning to spout the usual ‘do-or-die’ drivel.

Just before the clash against Brighton, Newcastle captain Jamaal Lascelles came out and declared the game was a “six-pointer”. Naturally, the comment didn’t go down too well with Magpies fans.

Now, Garth Crooks has joined in on the act by delivering an incredibly hyperbolic assessment of a key incident during the game.

Brighton forward Aaron Connolly thought he had sealed all three points for the Seagulls with a late effort, but saw his chip cleared off the line in dramatic fashion by Fabian Schar. Prompt ‘Mystic Garth’.

“The chip by Aaron Connolly was a certain goal and it needed something very special from a defender to clear the danger. That moment of magic came from Fabian Schar whose clearance off the line was nothing short of amazing. The clearance off the line by Schar could, come the end of the season, be Newcastle and Steve Bruce’s lifeline.”

Lifeline? Really? To put things into context at just how early things are at the moment, Newcastle find themselves three points off bottom, but also three points away from seventh.

Even if the Magpies had lost against Brighton, there are still 96 points left to be won in the season. Granted, Bruce’s side probably won’t be getting even half of that, but the age-old cliche of there still being a lot of football to play stands.

Perhaps Crooks simply wanted to highlight the torrent of ill-feeling that would have come Bruce’s way had the Tyneside club slipped to a home defeat. But even still, after getting rid of Rafa Benitez and installing his own man in charge, there is no way Mike Ashley would be looking to throw the towel in just yet. The Newcastle owner would gladly watch the Magpies’ suffering last even longer.
