O jogo

Um começo de jogo avassalador do Botafogo-SP. No forte calor de Ribeirão Preto, a Pantera não tomou conhecimento da Macaca e com 16 minutos já vencia o duelo por 2 a 0, com gols de Marlon Freitas em chute de fora da área e Murilo Henrique no contra-ataque.

Atordoada, a Ponte Preta buscava uma reação, mas sem muito sucesso. O time não conseguia trocar passes e deixava a defesa do Bota em situação confortável para controlar o jogo.

Nos minutos finais, a Macaca se aproximou do empate em lances isolados. Renato Cajá assustou no chute de fora da área e Renan Fonseca não aproveitou a saída errada do goleiro Darley.

Nos acréscimos o Botafogo ampliou ainda mais a sua vantagem. Roger puxou Marlon Freitas na grande área e a árbitra deu pênalti. Na cobrança, o próprio Marlon chamou a responsabilidade e bateu no alto, sem chances para o goleiro Ivan, 3 a 0.

Na etapa final o Botafogo-SP voltou ao jogo com o freio de mão puxado e viu a Ponte Preta crescer. Aos poucos, a Macaca conseguiu levar perigo ao goleiro e chegou ao tão sonhado primeiro gol na casa dos 20 minutos. Após pênalti marcado pela arbitragem, Roger descontou.

O sonho da reação durou pouco. No primeiro contra-ataque que o Bota encaixou, Dodô invadiu a grande área e sacramentou o triunfo da Pantera, 4 a 1.

The South African veteran’s unbeaten 109 took Lancashire to 216 for 4 at close, but with much work still ahead to remain in contention.Prince had come to the wicket when his side were reeling, thanks to two wickets from Northants’ overseas bowler Rory Kleinveldt – himself a former South African international. First Luis Reece edged to wicketkeeper Adam Rossington without scoring off the sixth ball of the innings, continuing his poor form which had produced just 42 runs in his opening two matches.More worryingly for Lancashire, Alviro Petersen followed eleven balls later after Kleinveldt’s vociferous lbw appeal was approved by umpire Paul Baldwin. At 3 for 2, Prince’s experience was badly needed, especially since Paul Horton almost ran himself out for 1 and was dropped by Richard Levi off Steven Crook when on 13.While the pair took Lancashire to 59 for 2 by tea, they soon put on a hundred partnership afterwards. But it was the 37 year-old who provided the class with sumptuous drives off all four of Northants’ seam attack. He’s a gutsy player, a good young player and he was aggressive in playing his strokes.”Crook feels that Northamptonshire can still impose themselves on Lancashire when the third morning of this game gets underway.”It’s a good wicket to bowl on. وأوضح: “لم أجامل الأهلي عندما قلت إنه قادر على الفوز أمام اتحاد جدة، لأن كان لدي إيمان بسبب الثقة الزائدة للاعبي الاتحاد، أنها ستستفز لاعبي الأحمر ويخرجون أفضل ما لديهم لكي يكسبوا المباراة وتكون بالنسبة لهم حياة أو موت، لاعبو لاتحاد تفاجأوا من أسلوب لعب الأهلي، الضغط العالي والحفاظ على الكرة بين أقدامهم”.

وأفاد: “لاعبو فريق فلومينينسي أعمارهم كبيرة لكنهم يستطيعون التغلب على ذلك باستخدام طريقة لعب تريحهم (فرقة صايعة)”.

وأكمل: “غدًا ستكون مباراة صعبة جدًا وصعوبتها تأتي من معطيات كثيرة، الأهلي بذل مجهودًا بدنيًا كبيرًا أمام اتحاد جدة، لذلك يجب على كولر ألا يلعب بنفس أسلوب مباراة الاتحاد”.

واستكمل: “الأهلي قادر أن يفوز على فلومينينسي البرازيلي ولكن يجب على كولر أن يكون ذكيًا جدًا في أسلوب لعبه بدون الكرة، من نقاط القوة للمنافس أنه يمتلك مديرًا فنيًا كبيرًا وقويًا جدًا إذا استطاع السيطرة على اللقاء يستطيع تحقيق المكسب على أي فريق”.

Com 33 anos de idade completados em junho, Jean tem contrato com o Palmeiras até 31 de dezembro de 2020 e está no clube desde janeiro de 2016. Participou como titular da campanha do título brasileiro de 2016 e atuou com frequência, principalmente com Felipão, na conquista do torneio em 2018.

O Palmeiras enfrenta o Avaí, último colocado do Campeonato Brasileiro, às 18h, na Ressacada, em Florianópolis. He however continues to hold the PCB office as head of powerful executive committee. The PCB has acknowledged Sethi’s decision.Interestingly, the ICC had asked the PCB to nominate an ex-cricketer last year in September but Pakistan came up with Sethi’s name.Sethi, the former chairman of the PCB, was slated to take over from Mustafa Kamal as the ICC president for a period of 12 months from July 1. The ICC after its April board meeting said that they would consider the appointment of Najam Sethi as ICC president during its meeting in Barbados at the end of June. Sethi was also briefed about the role of the ICC president and explained the responsibilities six months ago.With exactly a month to go for the appointment, Sethi made the surprising move. In April, he had offered himself as the interim president after Kamal resigned and was willing to fill in for two months before taking a full-fledged role from July.Sethi’s decision came after the ICC in its previous board meeting, it is understood, discussed encouraging former cricketers for the post from 2016 after what would have been Sethi’s one-year term. The post of the ICC president is merely a ceremonial and ambassadorial one and there was a sense prevailing after Kamal’s fall out that this post should be a held by an iconic cricketer for the image and popularity of the game. Sethi, a senior journalist and former caretaker chief minister of Punjab, is a direct political appointee from the Prime Minister in the PCB.”I am writing to thank you and the other members of the ICC for nominating me as ICC President for 2015-16.
