Peter Siddle, in England to take up a season-long overseas contract with Nottinghamshire, has admitted he is “pretty glad” England have dropped Kevin Pietersen from their side.Siddle, the Australia seamer, has claimed Pietersen’s wicket 10 times in Test cricket, but he still regards him as “a challenging player” to bowl against.”Personally, I’m pretty glad he’s not playing any more,” Siddle said. “I always loved bowling against him. He is a challenging player to play against.”But while Siddle remains respectful of Pietersen’s talent, he conceded he had enjoyed success against the batsman by playing to his ego in the most recent Ashes series in Australia.”I did [play to his ego],” Siddle said. “I just bored him. It is the most boring way I’ve bowled to any player. I knew where he wanted to score and knew how he would do it, so I tried boring him as much as I could and had a lot of success doing it.”Siddle might logically expect to have seen the last of Pietersen in an England shirt, but he does expect Jonathan Trott to return to the international side. Trott left the Ashes tour after the Brisbane Test suffering from burnout but, Siddle backed the batsman to return before too long.”I wouldn’t be surprised at all if Trott came back,” Siddle said. “He’s a very good player and he has had a lot of success against us. Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals have played the same number of games and are separated by only two points on the table. With five games to go each, unless they have a terrible run, they are set to make the playoffs. That is as far as the similarities go, however. Super Kings’ campaign has been quite solid. The only team that has felled them, twice at that, has been the flavor of the season, Kings XI Punjab. Their victory margins have been largely emphatic, underlining the assured nature of their campaign.Royals, on the other hand, have been up and down. Kolkata Knight Riders let it slip twice against them from strong positions, and Royal Challengers Bangalore produced an apology of a batting effort to be bowled out for 70 in Abu Dhabi. Royal Challengers seemed to be set for a comfortable win following Yuvraj Singh’s all-round show last night in Bangalore before crumbling in three overs against Steven Smith and James Faulkner. Till the pair looted 65 in 17 balls, Royals had found it tough chasing this season.They scraped their way to a target of 134 against Sunrisers Hyderabad in their opening match and failed to chase 135 against the same opponents in Ahmedabad. Earlier, they had also fallen short of 141 against Super Kings. For such a line-up to reach 191 with more than an over to spare, after all had appeared lost, will be a tremendous boost. كانت جابرييلا كالفين، الصديقة السابقة لـ أنتوني، قد وجهت اتهامات متعددة للاعب البرازيلي، بشأن الاعتداء الجسدي عليها وممارسة العنف ضدها.

ويواجه أنتوني تحقيقات من قِبل محكمة ساو باولو، مما أدى إلى استبعاده من قائمة منتخب البرازيل لمباريات هذا الشهر.
