O vice-presidente do Cruzeiro, Itair Machado, falou sobre as contratações da Raposa em entrevista ao programa Turma do Bate-Bola, da Rádio Itatiaia.
O dirigente atualizou as negociações com o São Paulo para a manutenção do volante Hudson e comentou as situações de alguns alvos do clube: o volante Bruno Silva, do Botafogo, o lateral-direito Rafinha, do Bayern de Munique, o atacante Gabriel, do Internazionale-ITA, e David, do Vitória.

Sobre o volante Hudson, emprestado pelo São Paulo ao Cruzeiro até o dia 31 deste mês, Itair revelou que a proposta feita ao São Paulo é de 400 mil euros e 25% dos direitos do jogador Lucca. No entanto, ele enfatizou que o impasse na negociação é por conta do caixa.

– Gostaríamos muito de ficar com o Hudson, o problema é que não adianta o Cruzeiro, a partir de agora, assumir compromisso e chegar no dia do vencimento sem ter como pagar. O Cruzeiro precisa voltar, e vai voltar com certeza, a ser aquele clube que assumiu e pagou, mesmo diante de dificuldades – ressaltou o dirigente.

O vice-presidente também comentou a situação de Bruno Silva. Segundo Itair Machado, o jogador tem grande estima pela Raposa e está quase fechando contrato com o clube.

– O jogador, por ser cruzeirense e a família ser daqui, e também por ser doido para jogar com o Mano optou por jogar no Cruzeiro. Abriu-se então uma facilidade para que o Cruzeiro ganhasse a briga. Como tem a posse na segunda, a gente vai, na terça-feira, acabar de detalhar esse contrato com o Bruno Silva. Acredito que vá se concretizar, porque falta pouca coisa. Mas há negociações que são mais demoradas. Você está mexendo no coração do Botafogo. A diretoria do Botafogo adora o Bruno Silva e, por eles, o jogador não sai de lá de jeito nenhum. Tanto que o Botafogo quis pagar a mesma faixa salarial que o Cruzeiro ofereceu para o jogador ficar animado lá. Mas o jogador quer vir para jogar a Libertadores pelo Cruzeiro – afirmou.

Itair revelou que as negociações com o lateral-direito do Bayern de Munique, Rafinha, deram uma esfriada.

– Acredito que, se desse certo a contratação dele, seria uma grande contratação para o Cruzeiro. Mas deu uma paralisada. Tinha uma reunião programada (entre o jogador e o Bayern), mas também foi adiada. Esperamos que até dia 20 isso possa ser resolvido. Vários clubes querem o Rafinha, mas o Cruzeiro tem três torcedores com recurso que ajudaria a pagar o salário. A gente acredita que até o dia 24, antes do Natal, tenhamos resolvido essas questões – ressaltou o dirigente.

Sobre o interesse do Cruzeiro no atacante do Internazionale, Gabigol, o vice-presidente disse que dialogou com o pai do jogador.

– Gabigol eu conversei com o pai dele. Ele tem o interesse de vir para o Cruzeiro, vocês estão vendo que há disputa. Conversei com o pai dele, está dependendo de detalhes. Questão salarial, a Inter teria que pagar. Jogadores na base com passaporte italiano. Por outro lado, a gente tem essa concorrência. O Cruzeiro é uma grande marca. Bom treinador, estrutura, os jogadores querem vir para o Cruzeiro.

Itair Machado também confirmou que o Cruzeiro está na briga para conseguir o atacante David, do Vitória. Ele fez questão de enfatizar a importância das contratações para o desempenho da equipe celeste no ano que vem.

– David é um nome que o Cruzeiro está no páreo. Muitos clubes querem. Já conseguimos o recurso para participar da concorrência, conseguimos para pagar à vista. Acredito que pode dar certo. Torcedor quer tudo para ontem, mas como as contratações são pontuais, precisamos errar o menos possível. Precisamos acertar nessas cinco, seis contratações – comentou o dirigente.

“They’re in for the Hungarian international Attila Szalai, he was part of the team for last year’s delayed European Championship,” he explained live on talkSPORT.

“I think he played pretty much every minute, if not every minute, for Hungary. Plays his club football for Fenerbahce, would cost around £17million.

“He’s been linked with Chelsea in the past by the Hungarian national team coach [Marco Rossi], I know for a fact West Ham have been tracking him since last summer.”

The Verdict: Good option?

There have been no shortage of links to centre-back options since both Kurt Zouma and Angelo Ogbonna picked up serious injuries, and even though the former is nearing a return, it appears Moyes is still looking at potential signings for that area of his squad.

Liverpool’s Nathaniel Phillips, Burnley mainstay James Tarkowski and versatile Man City ace Nathan Ake have been among the most prevalent names targeted by West Ham (The Evening Standard), but Szalai could come as a solid alternative.

The 6 foot 3 powerhouse has drawn comparisons with Premier League star Virgil van Dijk and his fairly young age and seemingly affordable price tag come as other attractive incentives to bid.

Despite it still being early days in his playing career, the Sunderland maestro has already been likened to a young version of Premier League legend Michael Carrick by talkSPORT commentator Ian Danter, which is a massive compliment given how highly regarded the former Manchester United midfielder is.

With that in mind, the opportunity to unearth the next Carrick at Villa should be a very exciting prospect for Gerrard and therefore persuade the Midlands club to launch a move to sign the Sunderland starlet, who has been labelled as a “diamond” by Phil Parkinson in the past.

Given how important he is to Johnson’s side, who are pushing for promotion back to the Championship, Villa may struggle getting them to agree a deal for Neil to leave before the end of the month.

However, with the lure of potentially playing in the Premier League with a big club like Villa under the management of one of the best midfield players of all time, this could be a very tempting next step for the Sunderland star should he feel like he’s ready to start a new chapter in his career.

Um dos jogadores mais contestados pela torcida do Flamengo em 2017, o zagueiro Rafael Vaz falou sobre as críticas que recebeu pela sua maneira de jogar e revelou que até mesmo alguns dirigentes do clube são contra, mas garantiu que recebe o apoio da maioria para fazer o melhor trabalho possível.

– Tenho que me adaptar em algumas situações, ainda mais falando de Flamengo. A torcida e até mesmo alguns dirigentes não aprovam meu jeito de jogar, mas eu também tenho apoio da grande maioria em fazer melhor. Vou estar procurando ajudar sempre da melhor forma possível

O zagueiro de 29 anos reconheceu que o número de pessoas que acham irresponsabilidade é grande, mas sair jogando é uma das coisas que os técnicos mais pedem para ele e para os outros zagueiros.

– Claro que tem muita gente que acha até um pouco de irresponsabilidade tentar sair jogando. Mas, como muitos treinadores pedem, acho que não existe mais no futebol o zagueiro que só sabe dar chutão, que só se preocupa em marcar. O jogo começa lá atrás. Eu tento fazer o meu melhor, que é sair jogando com mais qualidade, às vezes posso até errar, mas é complicado. A gente paga pela autoconfiança.
