Há menos de uma semana no Rio e no Flamengo, o técnico colombiano Reinaldo Rueda vem usando a ‘linguagem do futebol’ para se comunicar com os jogadores. O treinador entende português, desde que usado pausadamente, e fala em espanhol, mas também devagar, buscando a compreensão. Com gestos e ‘intérpretes’ que falam espanhol no elenco, como os meias Mancuello e Diego, o treinador, o auxiliar técnico Bernardo Redín e o preparador físico Carlos Velasco vêm se comunicando com o grupo.

Como o espanhol e o português têm muitas palavras similares, a língua não chega a ser um grande problema na comunicação. No jogo contra o Botafogo, Rueda chamou o garoto Vinicius Júnior para passar instruções à beira do gramado, antes dele entrar em campo, e os dois pareciam se entender em gestos com as mãos, indicando duas linhas de quatro.

O volante Willian Arão, que também fala um pouco de espanhol, ajuda os companheiros quando é necessário.

-Quanto mais soubermos o que ele quer nos passar, mais fácil ficará. O Mancu, o Berrío, o Cuéllar, e até eu mesmo, que entendo um pouco de espanhol, vamos tentando passar o que entendemos para que nenhuma informação passe despercebida – diz o camisa 5.

O volante colombiano Cuéllar, que hoje já fala português com desenvoltura, vêm recebendo muitas instruções da comissão técnica. Ele tem sido um elo importante neste momento inicial para evitar qualquer ‘ruído’ na comunicação.

Following on from their 5-0 bashing of Manchester United in the Premier League at the weekend, Liverpool are back in Carabao Cup action this evening with a trip to Deepdale to face Championship club Preston North End as they look to progress further in the competition.

Ahead of the match against Preston, Liverpool assistant manager Pep Lijnders revealed that Fabinho, Naby Keita, James Milner, Harvey Elliott, Thiago Alcantara are all likely to miss the match in midweek through individual injuries.

Lijnders also explained that goalkeeper Caoimhin Kelleher will miss the game as well.

Taking all of this into account, here’s how we feel Liverpool will line up this evening…

In goal, with Kelleher out, it seems likely now that we will see Adrian, who hasn’t played a game for the Reds so far this season in any competition, start with Alisson likely to be given a rest.

For the defence, Neco Williams could play in the right-back position with Joe Gomez and Nat Phillips occupying the centre-back positions and Kostas Tsimikas returning at left-back.

Jurgen Klopp’s first-choice backline all receive a break from action.

Elsewhere in midfield, with the number of injuries they currently have, we think Liverpool will have to put Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Curtis Jones in the team against Preston with Tyler Morton given a chance to shine after he came on as a substitute in their previous Carabao Cup match against Norwich City.

Up top, Klopp could stick with the same front three that started against Norwich in their 3-0 win back in September with Takumi Minamino and Divock Origi playing alongside 17-year-old winger Kaide Gordon, who signed his first professional contract with the Merseyside club earlier this month.

This would allow the likes of Diogo Jota, Sadio Mane, Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino to have a rest ahead of their next Premier League outing this weekend against Brighton & Hove Albion.

Moving forward, this match against Preston, this not only gives Liverpool the chance to get through to the next stage of the competition but also gives some of their fringe squad players the chance to show their worth, rest some of their senior players and give the injured players time to recover.

كشفت تقارير صحفية موقف نادي تشيلسي من السماح برحيل اللاعب كريستيان بوليسيتش إلى صفوف مانشستر يونايتد، في موسم الانتقالات الصيفي الحالي.

ولم يقدم اللاعب الأمريكي الأداء المتوقع منه في ستامفورد بريدج، خاصة أنه لم يحظ بفرص لعب منتظم مع البلوز.

وشارك بوليسيتش في 117 مباراة بقميص تشيلسي، منذ عام 2019، وسجل 25 هدفًا وصنع 19.

ورغم امتلاك بوليسيتش عقدًا ساريًا مع تشيلسي حتى عام 2024، إلا إنه ارتبط أكثر من مرة بخطوة الرحيل عن الفريق، وكان آخرها تلك الأيام.

وظهرت تقارير صحفية تفيد رغبة مانشستر يونايتد في التعاقد مع بوليسيتش في فترة الانتقالات الصيفية لهذا العام، من أجل تعزيز صفوف الفريق.

وحسبما ذكرت شبكة “سكاي سبورتس” العالمية، فإن تشيلسي لن يمانع فكرة الاستغناء عن خدمات بوليسيتش هذا الصيف ولكن ليس إلى مانشستر يونايتد، خاصة إنه يُعد منافس محلي بالنسبة للفريق.

وأوضحت أن الأمر لا يقتصر على ذلك، فإن تشيلسي لا يريد إعارة بوليسيتش، مثلما كان يريد مانشستر يونايتد، بل يريد صفقة انتقال دائم.

وهناك العديد من الأندية التي أبدت رغبتها في ضم اللاعب نفسه، مثل بايرن ميونخ، أتلتيكو مدريد، يوفنتوس، ميلان، إلى جانب نيوكاسل يونايتد.

One player who looks set to be available for the hosts is Coufal, with the right-back pictured in training in a tweet shared by the club’s official Twitter account on Saturday.

The Czech Republic international has had injury problems of late, not playing in the league since the defeat to Brentford on October 3. He had been an ever-present up to then and illustrated his importance to the side by winning 2.1 tackles per game, the third-highest average in the Irons’ squad.

وبعد مرور ربع ساعة تقلت شباك ليفربول أول أهداف المباراة عبر سانشو بطريقة رائعة، حيث جاء الهدف بعد تمريرة حصل عليها سانشو من أنتوني إيلانجا على يسار منطقة الجزاء.

ثم الإنجليزي حصل على الكرة داخل منطقة الجزاء ليتلاعب بدفاع أصحاب الأرض، وأسقط ميلنر أرضًا ثم سدد بشكل رائع في شباك أليسون بيكر، ونال الهدف إعجاب كريستيانو رونالدو الذي صفق لزميله الشاب على الهدف الرائع.

The Lowdown: Forshaw back after injury nightmare

Forshaw was a key player for Leeds when they were in the Championship, making 31 league appearances back in 2018/19.

Unfortunately, the 30-year-old has suffered a nightmare time of things with injury, missing close to two years of action with a serious hip problem.

Forshaw is now back in the fold, however, appearing five times this season and producing a ‘good cameo’ away to Norwich City on Sunday, according to journalist Phil Hay on Twitter.

The Latest: Whelan makes key claim

Speaking to Football Insider, Whelan tipped Forshaw to continue to be ideal cover for Phillips in central midfield as the season progresses:

“Yeah, I think so. We’ve still got to be mindful he’s had a really bad injury. He was out for two years, it’s not like two months.

“A little bit of cotton wool round him, just easing him in. Giving him the right amount of minutes, in the right games and situations.

“If Kalvin does suffer any more injuries, he probably is the one that you look at, to step into that role. So it’s very important that we manage him.

“I’m sure he’ll be expressing his fitness levels and how he’s feeling to the medical staff and the manager as well. It’s important that they all work together on Adam.

The Verdict: Hard to rely upon

While it is heartwarming to see Forshaw back fit – Whelan has hailed him as ‘excellent’ in the past – Leeds could still do with signing another midfielder to rival Phillips.

Given the severity of his injury, it is hard to rely on him staying fit for long periods, even though he is currently injury-free and impressing.

In an ideal world, Forshaw will carry on being a reliable squad member for a number of years, but it would be risky to trust him as Phillip’s main backup after his major injury setbacks.
