Aos 28 anos e vivendo um dos melhores momentos da carreira com a convocação para a Seleção Brasileira, o meia Rodriguinho entende que não pode esperar mais para realizar o sonho de atuar no futebol europeu e manifestou desejo de que o Corinthians aceite a proposta do Fenerbahce (TUR) recebida nesta quinta-feira. Em reuniões realizadas pelos representantes do meia, dirigentes do clube europeu e do Timão, a primeira investida foi negada. A negociação, porém, não foi encerrada, já que o Corinthians prometeu uma resposta final para esta sexta, e ouviu que o desejo do jogador é sair do país.

O Fenerbahce conversa há dois meses com Rodriguinho e conseguiu convencer o brasileiro a topar a transferência por conta de um tratamento especial. Além de dois importantes dirigentes terem viajado ao Brasil para acelerar as conversas, o jogador já se correspondeu com Dick Advocaat, atual técnico da equipe turca. O comandante ligou para reforçar o interesse e dizer como pretende utilizar o brasileiro em sua formação, que é exatamente no setor onde Rodriguinho joga e se sente à vontade no Timão atualmente. Até mesmo o volante Cristian, ex-jogador do Fener, foi consultado e passou recomendações positivas sobre o clube estrangeiro ao companheiro.

Rodriguinho não pretende entrar em conflito com a diretoria do Corinthians e prometeu que respeitará a decisão, mas também avisou que deseja sair. Até o mesmo o técnico Fabio Carille já conversou com seu camisa 26 e foi informado da pretensão do jogador, que vê a transferência como uma boa (e possivelmente última) oportunidade de jogar em alto nível na Europa, pois já tem 28 anos e contrato com o Corinthians apenas até o fim desta temporada.

O contrato curto, aliás, é o grande motivo de dúvida do Corinthians em relação à recusa da oferta turca por Rodriguinho. Para renovar o contrato e evitar a saída de graça no fim do ano, o Timão teria que comprar outros 50% dos direitos econômicos, que pertencem aCapivariano (40%) e América-MG (10%). Hoje, o Corinthians detém apenas 50%, e teme não ficar com nada em poucos meses – a partir do segundo semestre, Rodriguinho pode até assinar um pré-contrato com outro clube. Em outras palavras: se rejeitar a oferta turca, o Corinthians terá que se desdobrar para comprar os direitos de Rodriguinho, aumentar consideravelmente o salário e assumir o risco de que nada disso dê certo e o jogador comprado em 2013 por R$ 4 milhões saia de graça em 2018.

Rodriguinho ganhará na Turquia menos do que ganharia na China, em oferta recusada anteriormente pelo Corinthians, mas os vencimentos são superiores aos que ele têm no Brasil.

وأضاف: “لقد كانت مباراة معقدة بعض الشيء، واعتمدنا أكثر على الكرات الطويلة، لكن من الجيد عدم تلقى الكثير من الأهداف، خاصًة مع القاعدة الجديدة للأهداف خارج الأرض”.

وبسؤاله “إذا كان عليك منح درجة لريال مدريد، كم تمنح الفريق؟”، أجاب: “أنا لا أخب فعل ذلك حقًا، ولكن مهلًا.. أود أن أقول 8، لقد استقبلنا هدفًا، واستقبلنا بعض الفرص، كان بإمكاننا تسجيل هدف أو هدفين آخرين لأقول 10 لأننا خضنا مباراة كبيرة علي أي حال”.

وعن الهدف الذي استقبله: “لقد سدد كرة رأسية قوية، لقد حاولت منع ولكنني لم أستطع، إنه لأمر مخزٍ، ولكن نتيجة 3-1 جيدة أيضًا من العار أيضًا أن تستقبل هدفًا مثل الذي جاء”.

وأتم: “أعتقد أننا كُنا أكثر راحة مع الكرة، لقد خرجنا بشكل أفضل من الخلف، أمام باريس لم نفعل ذلك بشكل جيد، باريس سان جيرمان كان يضغط كثيرًا وكان لدينا مشكلة في إيجاد المساحة، اليوم نجحنا وسجلنا أهدافا سريعة، اليوم كُنا أفضل مما كُنا عليه في باريس”.

Speaking exclusively to Football FanCast, former Premier League striker Dean Windass believes Steve Bruce will be getting on Mike Ashley’s back over new signings for Newcastle United.

While Newcastle were able to finish 12th in the end, far from the relegation zone, they did have some really bleak moments during the 2020/21 season.

The Magpies really struggled during the December to March period in particular, causing fears of relegation at the time.

Bearing that in mind, Bruce could do with some reinforcements, something Windass thinks he will be asking for. And, according to The Sun, he could be about to get just that, with the outlet reporting that Ashley will hand him a £50m transfer budget.

On the matter, the ex-Hull City forward told FFC:

“Newcastle, it’s always been a car crash on and off the field. Steve is a proud man and he’ll be saying to Mike Ashley, ‘Listen, if this is going to work next year, I need backing, I need players to come in.’ ”

The same Sun report states Arsenal’s Joe Willock is likely to be a target. If the club can get that deal done, then Bruce will no doubt be pleased.

The 21-year-old was in fantastic goalscoring form during his loan spell at St. James’ Park and looks capable of elevating this Newcastle side.

The 30-year-old joined Liverpool from Bayern Munich last September in what looked like a hugely exciting signing at the time.

Thiago took time to settle at Anfield, partly due to injuries, but by the end of the campaign, he was arguably one of the Reds’ best players.

The Spaniard was often used in a number six role by Jurgen Klopp, allowing him to sit deep and dictate games with his playmaking brilliance.

The Latest: Superstar hints at unhappiness

It appears as though Thiago wants more attacking freedom, however, after he told L’Equipe [via Sport Witness] that he likes playing as a number 10. He said:

“I would say it (his ability to create) has been more limited because of a positional issue.

“If I play number 6 instead of number 10, I’ll have less room to manoeuvre, less freedom to dribble, because I’ll have to take fewer risks.

“In the history of football, strikers have always been admired more than defenders. Because a defender can’t make a mistake, unlike the striker (who can try harder).

“So, for me, it’s a question of position.”

The Verdict: No major issue

Not too much should be made of Thiago’s remarks, with the Spain international very much a team player who is happy to do what is best for Liverpool.

That being said, it seems fairly clear where he enjoys playing most, and there are occasions when his guile could be most devastating when he is let off the leash.

Thiago’s versatility can only be a good thing for Klopp and Liverpool, though, allowing him to excel across two different positions.

Jô estava há mais de um ano sem fazer gols até espantar o jejum e balançar as redes da Caldense na decisão do Campeonato Mineiro de 2015. A vitória por 2 a 1 deu ao Atlético-MG o título estadual daquela temporada, mas jamais foi engolida pela torcida da equipe de Poços de Caldas, que estava simplesmente invicta na competição até aquele momento: o atacante, hoje no Corinthians, marcou em posição irregular.

Nesta terça-feira, Jô pisou na cidade mineira para iniciar a preparação da partida do Timão na Copa do Brasil contra a mesma Caldense e não dá pra dizer que ele tenha sido bem recebido… nos traslados entre ônibus e hotel e hotel e estádio, o atacante foi alvo de fortes críticas da torcida mineira. Não da torcida do Corinthians, que fique claro, mas da Caldense, que ainda não superou o gol com a camisa do Galo mesmo quase dois anos de fazer o árbitro daquele jogo sair do estádio sob escolta policial.

Já para a torcida do Corinthians, a relação não tinha como estar melhor. Bem fisicamente, o atacante esteve nas quatro partidas até o momento, contra Vasco, São Paulo, Ferroviária e São Bento, sempre como titular. Na última oportunidade, válida pela primeira rodada do Campeonato Paulista, o camisa 7 fez o primeiro gol desta segunda passagem, deu boa mobilidade ao setor ofensivo e mostrou que será peça importante ao longo da temporada.

Em território hostil, Jô conta com a maturidade e a experiência para driblar o rótulo de “persona non grata” em Poços de Caldas, onde o Timão joga nesta quarta-feira, às 21h45, contra a Caldense, pela abertura da Copa do Brasil. Pelo menos essa é a confiança de seus companheiros.

– O Jô já é rodado, experiente, não teve culpa nenhuma, fez o gol, e mérito dele. Ele está tranquilo, preparado e é maduro para passar por isso – diz Marlone.
