وقال الخولي في تصريحات تلفزيونية بفضئية “أون تايم سبورتس” عبر برنامج “جمهور التالتة”: “حققنا المطلوب اليوم وهو التأهل، مع التحفظ على الأداء”.

وأضاف: “أنا غير راض عن الأداء، حدث هبوط في الشوط الثاني، كنت أنتظر أداء أفضل بكثير، ولكن اللاعبين لديهم عذرهم وهو أننا في بداية الموسم، ولكن يوجد حوالي 7 لاعبين بعيدين عن مستواهم”.

With the Gunners not really having another player in their ranks who looks capable of playing in between the lines and operating as a number ten – Ozil not included – Arteta could do a lot worse than unleashing Smith Rowe sometime soon.

The north Londoners have already seen a fellow academy product in Bukayo Saka flourish after being given a chance. Now is the time to do the same for Smith Rowe too.

Carlo Ancelotti can bring another Allan-type to Goodison Park in rumoured Everton target Matias Vecino, as the midfield powerhouse reconsiders his future with Inter Milan.

What’s the word?

According to FC Inter News, Vecino intends to stay at the San Siro to fight for his Inter future under Antonio Conte but will consider leaving in January should the former Chelsea boss push him to the exit door.

Vecino has been unavailable for all of Inter’s fixtures this term as he continues to overcome a knee injury, and has been the subject to speculation regarding a swap deal with Torino for Armando Izzo.

Torino have struggled to reach an agreement with the 29-year-old, though, as the Serie A outfit have a strict salary cap in force which Vecino would eclipse on his current terms.

Vecino would also prefer to join a top-tier club that competes in Europe should he leave Inter this winter and could be offered his chance by Sevilla, where Sporting Director Monchi is an admirer, or from Roma or the Premier League, where Chelsea and Everton have previously sought his services.

Neither the Stamford Bridge nor Goodison Park outfit are currently said to be planning revived approaches, with Everton’s interest noted to have come from Ancelotti following the Italian’s appointment as Marco Silva’s successor.

The future for Vecino at the San Siro is very unclear, as he bids to make his comeback appearance next month and secure his future under Conte.

Another Allan-esque import

While Everton are not currently thought to be considering another bid to sign Vecino, the Uruguayan could serve Ancelotti well as another Allan-esque import from the Serie A 12-months on from the Italian’s original efforts to sign him.

Gazzetta dello Sport, via Sport Witness, claimed back in January that the Toffees were driving Inter to lower their asking price having been informed the 41-cap international could be signed for €20million (£18m), with later reports by Corriere dello Sport suggesting that a max offer worth €12m (£10.8m) plus bonuses was made.

Vecino has since continued to live life on the fringes under Conte, with a meniscal problem sustained during the postponement of Serie A fixtures preventing the 29-year-old from making more than two appearances before a knee injury brought his season to an end.

Everton could use Vecino’s injury plights to lower whatever Inter’s valuation would be in January, and in doing so strive to improve Ancelotti’s midfield with the ideal cover for Allan.

Unlike Fabian Delph, who has played 64 minutes of Premier League football this season and averaged 1.6 tackles, 0.4 key balls and zero shots a game last term, Vecino won 3.2 of his duels, was successful with 71% of his dribbles, provided 0.8 key balls and took 1.1 efforts on goal each Serie A appearance in 2019/20, per SofaScore.

Vecino, who earns £76,000-a-week according to Salary Sport, would not be a starter ahead of Andre Gomes, Abdoulaye Doucoure or Allan, but will be a midfield powerhouse capable of providing Ancelotti with the depth the Italian currently lacks.

Ancelotti will certainly be loath to lose Allan for any considerable period of time, after the Brazilian proved himself a hit on Merseyside since a £21.7m move from SSC Napoli with Everton’s most tackles (20) and third-most ground duels won (30) in the Premier League so far.

وواصل: “الأهلي اتخذ القرار الصحيح باستبعاده من أجل الحفاظ على المجموعة وفرض الانضباط على الفريق، بغض النظر عن نتيجة المباراة، الأهم فرض الانضباط”.

وأشار: “خروجه من القائمة لمصلحة الفريق والمجموعة، فيجب أن تحافظ على النظام حتى لو خسر الأهلي مباراة الزمالك، ولكنه سيفرض الانضباط على المجموعة المتواجدة والنظام ووضع الأساس الذي يسير عليه الجميع طوال الموسم، وقرار صحيح مليون في المائة”.

وأوضح: “كهربا ليس لاعبا أساسيا، من الموسم الماضي يشارك على فترات أو بمعنى أصح كبديل، والأهلي تعاقد مع لاعبين في نفس مركز كهربا، وموسيماني هو من قرر التعاقد معهما بالتالي فرصهما في المشاركة بالمباراة ستكون أكبر، وهذا القرار لن يؤثر بالسلب على الأهلي”.

الجدير بالذكر أن محمود عبد المنعم كهربا لم يشارك في أي دقيقة مع الأهلي خلال أول جولتين في بطولة الدوري.
