أوضح نادي أنقرة جوجو، الهابط في الساعات القليلة الماضية رسميًا إلى دوري الدرجة الأولى التركي، موقفه من استمرار مهاجم الأهلي المُعار أليو بادجي مع الفريق.

وانتقل بادجي إلى أنقرة جوجو على سبيل الإعارة حتى نهاية الموسم الحالي مقابل 250 ألف دولار، من أجل محاولة تفادي الهبوط، ولكن لم ينجح السنغالي وزملاءه في مهمتهم بعد الخسارة بالأمس أمام قاسم باشا في الجولة التاسعة والثلاثين من الدوري التركي.

شارك بادجي مع أنقرة جوجو في 12 مباراة وسجل 3 أهداف، كان آخرهم أمام قاسم باشا، ولكنه لم يكن كافيًا لعدم الخسارة وتأكد الهبوط.

وتواصل “btolat.com” مع مصدر موثوق داخل أنقرة جوجو لمعرفة موقف النادي من استمرار بادجي، خاصة وأن هناك شرط أحقية شراء بقيمة مليون يورو.

وقال المصدر: “أليو كان معارًا لنا، ومن الصعب أن يستمر معنا في أنقرة جوجو”.

وتابع: “النادي لا يمتلك الأموال الكافية للتعاقد معه نهائيًا، وسيعود إلى الأهلي فور انتهاء الإعارة مع نهاية الموسم الحالي”.

Plenty of Liverpool fans have taken to Twitter to respond to a comment made by the manager of one of their main Premier League title rivals.

Journalist Jamie Jackson tweeted a quote from Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola saying how his team’s European history is incomparable to Liverpool’s. [via @JamieJackson_]

In an interview with BT Sport [via Liverpool Echo], he said: “Liverpool have six [European Cup wins] and this club have one semi-final. We are far away from the ‘You’ll Never Walk Alone’ team and that is the reality.”

While Jurgen Klopp has led Liverpool to the last two Champions League finals, winning the most recent edition of the tournament, Guardiola has been unable to get Manchester City past the quarter-finals in his three full seasons at the club.

The Reds put pay to the Premier League champions’ European hopes two seasons ago and have won Europe’s premier club competition six times in their history, whereas Manchester City’s best finish in the tournament was the semi-finals in 2016, the season before Guardiola assumed the reins.

The Spaniard had also commented on Liverpool’s habit for scoring decisive late goals earlier this month (via Sky Sports), as well as accusing Sadio Mane of diving after the Reds’ win over Aston Villa a few weeks ago (as per Sky Sports).

التقارير الإسبانية، أشارت إلى أن خوان لابورتا رئيس النادي الكتالوني، يسعى للتعاقد مع تشافي هيرنانديز مدرب السد القطري ولاعب برشلونة السابق، لكنه سيعطي كومان فرصته حتى النهاية.

كومان خسر لقب الدوري الإسباني مع برشلونة وخرج من دوري أبطال أوروبا، وكأس السوبر الإسباني، ولم يتوج سوى بكأس ملك إسبانيا هذا الموسم.

صحيفة “موندو ديبورتيفو” الإسبانية، أفادت بأن لابورتا حدد الأسبوع المقبل موعدًا لاجتماع نهائي وحاسم لمستقبل رونالد كومان، عقب مواجهة إيبار التي ستكون يوم السبت المقبل.

وأشارت الصحيفة إلى أن لابورتا سيستمع إلى رونالد كومان، وبعد الاجتماع سيتم اتخاذ القرار النهائي، سواء باستمرار الهولندي على رأس القيادة الفنية في برشلونة، أو إقالته بعد أقل من عام على تعيينه.

كومان تولى قيادة برشلونة في أغسطس الماضي، خلفًا لـ كيكي سيتين بعد هزيمة النادي الكتالوني 8/2 من بايرن ميونخ وتوديع دوري أبطال أوروبا.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Arsenal’s former academy manager, Andries Jonker, has urged the club to show some “guts” by appointing Freddie Ljungberg on a permanent basis.

What did he say?

The Gunners are on the search for a long-term successor to Unai Emery, after the Spaniard was sacked by the club following a dismal run of results that had seen them not pick up a win in their previous seven games.

Now, Jonker – who knows Ljungberg from the time the pair worked in Arsenal’s academy and at VfL Wolfsburg – has suggested it would be a real statement of intent from the Gunners to appoint whom he describes as a “very talented coach”.

He said: “I would prefer for them to give the chance to someone who knows Arsenal, knows the academy, knows all those talented players. He also knows the laws of total football. Give him time, give him confidence, help him and support him. He is one of Arsenal. I would appreciate the guts of the Arsenal bosses if they hired Ljungberg.

“He became assistant coach of the U16s for half a year and after when he felt comfortable he asked me ‘can you give me a team? I would like to be a professional coach, the head coach of the youth team for myself’. He said ‘I want to invest in my career, so far I enjoy it very much and I want to improve myself’. He’s proven to be a very talented coach.

“Freddie is a lover of really good football, the way Arsenal want to play normally fits him. He wants his teams to try to play offensive football and be exciting – winning with that. This is the style he likes.”

Arsenal’s own Frank Lampard

Having seen the incredible early success Frank Lampard has enjoyed at London rivals Chelsea – the Blues are in the top four and are close to qualifying for the knockout stages of the Champions League – the Gunners may well be tempted to appoint one of their own former heroes to steer the ship.

Lampard’s year in senior management at Derby gave him some vital experience, something Ljungberg currently lacks, having only been a coach. But if the Swede can show some of the dedication to the craft and style of play that Jonker believes he possesses over the next few weeks, then he will certainly have had made a very strong case for himself.

Meanwhile, Arsenal should benefit massively from Freddie Ljungberg looking to reconnect with this key Gunners figure.

كما أرسل الاتحاد المغربي لكرة القدم خطابا رسمياً إلى الزمالك يطلب فيه انضمام أشرف بن شرقي إلى صفوف معسكر منتخب المغرب خلال فترة التوقف الدولية المقبلة أيضا.

وخاطب نادي الزمالك اتحادي الكرة في تونس والمغرب من أجل تأجيل ضم الرباعي إلى المعسكر المقام على هامش التوقف الدولي، نظراً لاستمرار منافسات البطولات المحلية في مصر خلال هذه الفترة.

أكد حسين لبيب رئيس اللجنة المكلفة بإدارة نادي الزمالك، بأن اللجنة الجديدة سوف تحل الأزمة المالية التي يمر بها النادي.

وقال لبيب في تصريحات إذاعية عبر أثير راديو “أون سبورت”: “قمنا بتكوين لجنة من أبناء النادي والأعضاء العاملين، ووضعنا تصورات معينة، وخلال أسبوعين أو ثلاثة سنعلم جيدًا ماذا سنفعل لحل هذه الأزمة الطاحنة للنادي، بما فيها مستحقات اللاعبين سوء كرة القدم أو الألعاب الأخري”.

وتابع: “سنتسلم النادي من اللجنة المتواجدة، وسنعقد أول اجتماع لنا، ولا توجد قرارات فردية، سنتناقش في جميع الأمور وبعدها سنتخذ القرارات المقتنعين بها، ولدينا تصورات جيدة ولن أفصح عنها، وأي قرار من مجلس الإدارة سيعلن رسميًا”.

وأردف: “سيكون هناك متحدث رسمي للنادي، ولن نظهر ونصرح بأي شيء عبر وسائل الإعلام، وكل هذه سيكون داخل المنظومة الإعلامية”.

وبسؤاله هل سيكون المتحدث الرسمي من داخل مجلس الإدارة أم خارجه؟، أجاب: “سننتظر حتى نأخذ قرارًا في هذا الأمر، لأنه ليس قرارًا فرديًا، وان شاء الله سنصل بالنادي مثلما يتمنى أي مشجع، والمنظومة الإعلامية ستشهد بعض التغيبرات”.

وعن الانتخابات، قال: “من المهام الموكلة إلينا إجراء انتخابات للمجلس الجديد، والمجلس السابق برئاسة مرتضى منصور سينتهي العمل الخاص به، يوم 24 نوفمبر والمجلس الجديد المُنتخب لابد أن يتسلم النادي في ذلك التوقيت، وبالتالي سنفتح باب الانتخاب قبلها من 45 وحتى 60 يومًا”.

واختتم: “أقول لجماهير الزمالك سنعمل على إسعادكم، وأعدهم بأننا سوف نعمل على حل أي مستحقات متأخرة للاعبين، ونجلس مع اللاعبين وسنكون صادقين فيما نقول، فنحن نفتح صفحة بيضاء للجميع وسعداء للتعاون مع أي جهة، ولا نحسب على أي جبهة، وسنحافظ على حقوق النادي كاملة بالعقل والقانون”.

It was an afternoon that Calum Chambers is unlikely to forget anytime soon. Away at Swansea in the monsoon-like rain back in November 2014, the England international got torn to shreds by Jefferson Montero. The winger had too much pace for the Arsenal man, and inspired a 2-1 comeback victory for the hosts.

Whilst the 25-year-old has done well to put those scars to one side by forcing himself into a first-team regular at the Emirates now, there is still a feeling that he is very much a round peg in a square hole when playing at right-back. His lack of natural athleticism mean he isn’t the typical modern-day full-back, and whilst he’s a central defender by trade, the defensive side of the game when playing on the flank completely changes.

And that is exactly why Chambers will be hoping he has learnt from that nightmare of a few years ago, when he takes on another equally quick, but technically gifted winger in Brighton’s Leandro Trossard, on Thursday night.

After enjoying an impressive cameo against Liverpool last time out, Seagulls boss Graham Potter insisted that the door is very much open for Trossard to make the leap from the bench to the starting line-up. He said: “He can do both, it’s just the right time, the right game. We are coming to a period where we need to use everybody.”

And with the Gunners so defensively fragile this season, Potter may well be inclined to unleash the Belgian at the Emirates. As per Whoscored, the £15m man has averaged an impressive 1.3 dribbles and two key passes per game, whilst he hasn’t been afraid to try his luck either, managing 1.3 shots per game too. If Chambers allows the 25-year-old to have a run at him one-on-one with space in behind, then the defender will have an incredibly long night.

The former Southampton man has made 1.6 fouls per game in the Premier League this season, and much of those have been for making tactical fouls after a winger has gotten past him. He has the perfect opportunity however on Thursday night, to show that he has well and truly learned from that fateful clash against Swansea all those years ago.

Meanwhile, Arsenal turning away from prominent managerial candidate due to financial reasons would be criminal.

وكان ماسيميليانو أليجري، أبرز المُرشحين بقوة، لخلافة زيدان داخل ريال مدريد، ولكن الإيطالي أدار ظهره للنادي الملكي، وقرر العودة إلى يوفنتوس من جديد، بعد عامين من الرحيل.

وبحسب صحيفة “موندو ديبورتيفو” الإسبانية، فإن إدارة ريال مدريد بعد استبعاد خيار أليجري، استبعدت أيضًا فكرة تعيين لوف مديرًا فنيًا للفريق الأول لكرة القدم بالنادي الملكي.

وقالت الصحيفة إنّ النادي أمامه الآن ثلاث خيارات بشأن المدرب الجديد، حيث يتواجد كل من ماوريسيو بوتشيتينو، مدرب باريس سان جيرمان، إلى جانب الإيطالي أنطونيو كونتي، فضلًا عن راؤول جونزاليس.

وأشارت إلى أنّ نسبة تعيين راؤول كمدرب أقل من الثنائي الآخرين، رغم أنه مدرب للكاستيا وأسطورة النادي، ولكن إدارة النادي، تفضل مدرب يتمتع بخبرة أكبر.

وأوضحت أنّ المدرب المُفضل لدى فلورنتينو بيريز، رئيس مجلس إدارة النادي، هو بوتشيتينو، الذي طلب الرحيل عن “حديقة الأمراء”، بعد خلافات مع إدارة النادي الباريسي (طالع التفاصيل).

واختتمت الصحيفة تقريرها موضحة أنّ في حال تمسكت إدارة باريس سان جيرمان، ببقاء بوتشيتينو، فإن النادي سيذهب إلى التعاقد مع الإيطالي كونتي، بعد استقالته من تدريب إنتر ميلان.

After claiming all three points against Tottenham in mid-week, Manchester United were at it again with a superb performance in their 2-1 derby day triumph against Manchester City on Saturday afternoon.

The Red Devils arrived at the Etihad on the back of beating their former manager Jose Mourinho’s Spurs side on Wednesday, and knew City would pose another stern test of their credentials.

But in a scintillating counter-attacking performance, particularly in the first-half, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side were rampant, tearing the home side to shreds with their pace and movement. The visitors raced into a two-goal lead by the break, thanks to a Marcus Rashford penalty and a clinical finish from Anthony Martial, and racked up five shots on target.

As Pep Guardiola’s men chased for a comeback, United held firm, with Nicolas Otamendi’s late goal only proving to be a consolation. And whilst their attack did the talking in the opening period of the game, Solskjaer’s substitutions in the second-half certainly helped ensured they walked away with all three points.

Off the bench

The United boss’ use of his bench this season has had some mixed results, with his decision-making in that dramatic draw against Sheffield United seeing him go from hero to zero. But on Saturday afternoon, there can be no question he got his substitutions spot on, and more than just the personnel changes, it was also the mentality and instructions that he gave the players when taking to the pitch that proved to be decisive.

Andreas Pereira was the first man to come on, when he replaced Anthony Martial, with the Brazilian coming in to offer some more protection to the midfield area. And whilst the 23-year-old wasn’t involved in a game-changing highlight at either end, one particular moment showed Solskjaer is beginning to learn his lessons in the dark arts.

As City looked to mount a counter-attack through Raheem Sterling, Pereira came charging in from behind and simply swiped at the England international’s legs, bringing him to a halt. He may have picked up a yellow card for his troubles, but he ensured the Red Devils weren’t left exposed on the break. It’s the kind of mentality that comes with better in-game management, knowing when to make tactical fouls and how to kill a game off.

The later substitutions of defenders Ashley Young and Axel Tuanzebe simply reinforced that. Solskjaer showed he may have just embraced the kind of ‘dirty’ tactics it takes to close out victories, and that is a trait that will bring them rich rewards. It is something Mourinho used to employ in order to gain an advantage and earn results, and whilst it may not be admirable or even honourable (Jamie Carragher even described it as “disgraceful”), it has proven it can work.

And on Saturday, the United boss embraced his inner Mourinho to full effect.

Meanwhile, Manchester United fans have lauded this man for his defensive masterclass against Manchester City.

وتابع: “كان يمكن أن يكون الهدف حاسمًا في نتيجة المباراة، إذا كان هدف بيرسي تاو هدفًا صحيحًا، تخيلوا النتيجة انتهت بالتعادل 0-0 ولم تفز جنوب إفريقيا”.
